Right now, if you have multiple shifts or recurring events, there is only the ability to be the organizer for ALL of them. If you add multiple organizers, they get notified about ALL shifts/events, when in reality they only need the info about one of them.
Ecolab is considering dropping a multiday event because the individual volunteer hosts/champions don't have an easy way to view and manage their team participation in a certain shift without being inundated by emails about all registration activity across the 25 days.
In the email sent to volunteer event manager, include shift that volunteer left: https://csrconnect.ideas.aha.io/ideas/CSRCON-I-148
I realize I could create a separate event for each day of our 5 weeks of Habitat Build but that would be even more to manage 25 different events, each with their own organizer.
We are considering dropping a multi-day event (Habitat for Humanity in the Twin Cities) because there's no way for our organizers to receive updates on the day they're aligned with. It is just too much to manage for our team. We have 25 events across 5 weeks each summer that currently include 181 volunteers for this year. That's a lot of events and volunteer impact that we'd lose. We just can't manage this with the way it's set up.
