Allow Default Incentive Redemption

Instead of incentive dollars going unused when they are not redeemed by the expiration date, clients can set up programs to have all eligible incentives auto-redeeem to a default organization of their choice.

    Sharing a few YourCause SME notes for when this is reviewed:

    This seems to be a request for Volunteer Incentives vs. general issue. Which would make sense since the trigger to get the incentive is tied to an organization already.

    This is a nice option for customers that allow:

    • auto-approval of Volunteer Incentives

    • Don't require compliance for the NPO before approval

      • Although, the alternate organization chosen may already have addressed compliance so that is something to consider.

    • For those that prefund to expedite Incentives, Prefunding budgeting best practice would need to change from Volunteer Incentives redeemed in a timeline, to Volunteer Incentives earned in a timeline.
