There is not currently the ability to add a name to the waitlist, only to an active shift. There are times when an event admin is asked to add someone to the waitlist, but the only way to do this is for a super admin to impersonate the employee. A simple option to select if you want to add the person to the shift or to the waitlist for the shift would be great!
