Configure Stranded Funds Automation Charity Buckets per Donation Type

Currently with Stranded Funds Automation you can only enable 1 unique charity bucket for all donation types. Please consider adding the ability to configure multiple charity buckets based on donation type for SFA.


We currently have our matching gift charity bucket associated with SFA, to ensure that all matching gifts are only allowed to be redirected to other match eligible organizations. However, we need to come up with a way to have personal donations and volunteer grants be eligible to be redirected to organizations that are not match eligible. When employees want to redirect their donations or volunteer grants, all 'give eligible' orgs should be available. Only in our matching gifts program should it be restricted to match-eligible orgs.

    Boeing has requested this as well. They allow payroll giving to any eligible org., a wider availability of orgs than their match program. If payroll funds need to be redirected, the employee is limited to the match bucket. This is very needed.

    This is an important and critical update to continued success with SFA. Our customers often fund matching from a different budget with different tax implications for their company that make the use of charity choice for the match impossible.
