Don't auto add volunteers from wait list to event

Auto adding volunteers from the waitlist to an in-person volunteer event wastes time. The volunteer likely can't make it anymore and so they have to deregister; the event manager tried to catch up first with a new sign up and later with another drop out.

Instead, allow either:

  1. Manually adding waitlisted volunteer(s) to the event

  2. Create an "alert" button that tells waitlisted volunteers a spot has opened up and directing them tot he event URL to sign up if they are available. This would be a one-click solution.

I haven't noticed the auto-add feature! The other day I manually added someone. Maybe it auto-adds them after a certain amount of time? I would agree that usually by the time someone cancels, the waitlist isn't able to attend anymore so an email alerting them that a spot opened up would be amazing!

I agree with this and like option 2 from above! In addition to that, it would alert both waitlist person about the open spot and the event manager that the waitlist person has been notified, so that the manager is aware and can follow up and move down the waitlist if needed (like if there were no response from the first waitlist person).
