Allow customization for this feature, ex. option to choose match inclusion or not. In addition to customization, show key near the thermometer ("what are these totals?").

I love this idea. The industry has changed since we last adjusted the totals & goal feature in the campaign and matching is now part of the bigger picture for most customers. It would need to bring in Match Requested and Match Approved. The addition of custom help text fits nicely with other parts of the site where customers get to give context like the home page totals and Incentives.
