Currently, fundraisers are for one-time payroll or CC. It would be cool to make a fundraiser where people set their recurring payroll deduction. I really like the fundraiser module and want to find an easy way to encourage employees to do recurring payroll. Would also help knowing how recurring payroll is doing

Hey Sean, thank you for your submission. Product has considered the addition of recurring payroll in our peer-to-peer fundraising functionality but there are complications with doing so with the various ways our clients handle their payroll. An example would be, a fundraiser that is set to run for a full year but does not align to the same date range as an annual payroll program from Jan-Dec. Currently, payroll file exchanges do not include start and end dates nor do our clients consume start and end dates. For GM, your programs run ongoing but for other clients, their payroll is restricted annually. As we review enhancements to our payroll functionality, this is something we are considering solutions for enhancements to fundraising but we will also need to include enhancements to our payroll functionality at a fundamental level. We will move this idea to voting open to allow others to weigh in to see if this will be a useful functionality for their communities. Thanks!
