Allow for multiple volunteer event question sets

Today the only volunteer event question set that can be enabled is for t-shirts. Allow clients to create their own volunteer event question sets that event creators can enable. Some examples include

  • meal preference question set

  • transportation question set

  • collect address question set

We do use Sign Up Questions, the issue is that all questions must appear at once. We're looking to create question sets. For example, not every event will have meals or transportation and most event creators are not going to think of every question set type. The way it is created today is that the event creator has to create their own Sign Up question sets.

Hi Sarah, we believe this functionality already exists within current event creation settings. When creating an event after the initial information is included, so once in 'Manage Event' you will see a on the left nav for 'Sign Up Questions'. This can be setup with up to 30 questions if needed in which in order for a user to sign up to participate would need to answer. This could include what you mentioned for meal preference, transportation info, etc. This we believe we can even further enhance as a future consideration for this question set to use our conditional Question functionality in which you are able to use in other parts of the site currently, allowing for questions to show on conditions such as answering B on question 1 would then show Question 2 as additional info is needed, or if A was answered on question 1 then it would skip down to question 3.

If this is looking for a way to populate question sets to be able to be selected by event coordinators/creators, that is something we are considering as a time saver for creators but want to make sure wouldn't cause issues across all clients and how they run their programs.

Appreciate the idea here and will make sure to keep your CSM informed as discussions considered.
