Date Display on Events

When viewing a volunteer event in CSRConnect, the date appears to be in the MMDDYYYY format for all events regardless of the region where the event is located. Can the date of events be written in full words or localized to the region where the event takes place so there is the same date display and user experience for all users (especially non US/ international)? The MMDDYYYY format may throw off the user when they access from different locations (for example, Indian employees may read it wrong as October 2nd instead of the actual February 10th event date).

We had an associate, based in Europe, share that there was confusion when we recently did a bulk upload of volunteers to an event that had taken place the past February 10, but due to the formatting of the date being in US format, they thought it was an event coming up on October 10:

But due to the date format being US, everyone thought they were being invited to an event for October is there a way to change the format of the date for future events so that the month is written i.e 10 Feb 2026.

Our associates in global communities are very confused when they see the US way of formatting a date. Our associates have thought an event was coming up instead of in the past when receiving a communication. For instance 10-8-26 in the US is in Oct but in Europe that's in August.

This should be updated as all of our UK and European customers use the DDMMYYYY format.

There is a risk of volunteers confusing dates when they are presented inconsistently - could impact sign up/ participation rates

It's essential for our audience to have consistent date formatting across the pages, this would make a huge difference to us in the UK.

The date format in the Shifts section is currently displaying in the US format, whereas other pages use the UK format. This needs to be consistent across the platform to align with the UK date format, as the US format is only applicable in the United States.

This would be massively helpful in the UK!
