I have had people cancel an event and I didn't realize they cancelled so I added them back in because I thought they forgot to sign up! It would be great to have a clear list somewhere of who has cancelled, because emails aren't always reliable and aren't able to be consulted back to.
Thanks for the update! Previous volunteer management sites we have used have this kind of page so that you multiple admins can see who cancelled instead of just the creator. We have creators who are admin assistants who don't have anything to do with the actual events, so they aren't the ones who need to know when someone cancels. Obviously we are just one case study, but I still think this would be very helpful to have in the CSR Connect panel somewhere!
Hello Savannah, thank you for your submission. For an event, the creator/organizer receives an email when a participant leaves the event. Retaining participants within an event who have chosen to leave an event and then displaying that info within the event would be very complicated and could lead to some not so ideal situations as an individual may need to leave for personal reasons. An individual should not be added back to an event without consulting that individual as well, but the emails notifying the event creator/organizer can be relied on to inform. Signing up for an event can be done both by the individual or by an organizer who can mange the event by adding participants in bulk or individually if ever needed to insure no one forgets, but lose leaving an event must walk through several steps to remove themselves already to avoid any accidental cancelations.
