Would like the ability to have the credit card donation minimum set by processing partner. For example, the current minimum credit card donation for Give India is the equivalent of $10 USD. This is a large amount in India and a hinderance to donations.
I agree with these customer post comments and think the minimums need to be lowered, especially in the case of the fundraising option as folks like to contribute small amounts for certain situations. Having our minimums affected because of the conversion to CDN to very frustrating and not an inclusive product for international customers. I believe more work needs to be done with your processing partners if that is the obstacle here.
Hello Michele and Elizabeth, appreciate the submission. While I absolutely agree and understand that the minimums can be a barrier, some of these minimums are set by our 3rd party partners within their contracts with us. While I agree this idea is valuable and there might be some availability for setting this with some partners, there are still some which we must adhere to our partners minimum. Product is considering future options for new/other ways to handle this but nothing in the immediate future that would allow form less than the minimums currently set.
If we are truly offering a global solution, we must allow for variance in the minimum credit card donation as it relates to our global partners. For example, $10 USD in India is a barrier to donors.
