Many sites like VolunteerMatch offer the user a view to sort by one-time dated events apart from re-occurring events and flexible events. These are all types of events in our site depending if they were created for one date, multiple dates or re-occurring events, or as a flexible project.

This sort would make it easier for a volunteer to sort between given the time and interest in type of opportunity to participate. It would be helpful to have a filter to sort by event type as there is for Date, Distance and Relevance.
