Currently, recurring volunteer events are not factored into the search criteria, but the first event occurrence is. If recurring events have been ongoing, say from January, they'll appear before the one-time event. It would be helpful if functionality was updated so that recurring events appear in order of the next occurrence date. This would ensure employees always have relevant, upcoming events to pick from and do not have to sort through events with dates that do not align with when they are trying to volunteer.
