Add the ability to go in after an event to share the results from the event so that you can pull a report of all event impact/results!
Measuring impact is very difficult, but if there was a way to input the impact from each event and then pull a report about it that would be very helpful!
I was thinking more of a universal textbox where we could input our own impact which would tie to the event for reporting purposes. Impacts we see can be anything from 800 food boxes packed, 500 teacher care packages created, 2,000 lbs of donations sorted, 100 meals on wheels bags decorated, etc. Even just having a spot to input that after an event would be immensely helpful because we could pull a "volunteer impact report" and see the event, the date, the number of volunteers, the number of hours, and the event impact. Just the thought of that THRILLS me because it would be so so helpful. Even though they are all different metrics, it would still be super nice to have it in one place!!
Hi Savannah, thank you for this submission. Looking to get a little more information here. With volunteer events being so unique, the impacts of those events also tend to be unique to that particular event. What kinds of impact metrics do you envision could be recorded from an event? Any that you think would be useful to report on across any volunteer event that would be helpful universally?
My boss said that the GrantsConnect program has an outcome field like this so she was thinking it could be implemented into CSR too!
