Have recurring event instances still show under "upcoming"

Currently, once a single instance of an event takes place, all future instances appear as past events. Future occurrences no longer appear as "upcoming." Would like the system to show past instances in history, and future instances under upcoming.

    I find it clunky, too. When re-occurring events appear in the search opportunities they bog down the listing because it appears first over single dated opportunities due to the first occurrence date versus next occurrence date.

    Agree!!! Because of this, we stopped using the recurring functionality and just copy events because we often have different leaders for recurring events as well, yet when you set someone as an organizer they are the organizer for all occurrences. The recurring functionality needs to be cleaned up a lot.
