In the current volunteer event registration experience, Step 3 displays a fully completed progress bar before the employee has selected "Sign Up" and finalized their registration. This creates the impression that registration is complete when additional action is still required. As a result, employees frequently exit the process believing they have successfully registered for an event, when in reality their registration was never completed. Because partial registrations are not tracked, organizations may be unaware that volunteers intended to participate but never finished the final step.

Consider updating the progress indicator so it does not appear complete until registration is fully submitted. Alternatively, display a warning or confirmation message when a user attempts to navigate away from the page before selecting "Sign Up", informing them that their registration is not yet complete.
