At National Fuel, we utilize the group function on the platform for our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Often times, those groups like to offer volunteer opportunities that are intended exclusively for members of a group. While the platform supports the creation and promotion of volunteer events broadly and then added to a specific group, there is currently no functionality that allows an event to be promoted within a specific group and restricted to that group’s members for visibility and signup.

As a result, we are unable to effectively manage ERG‑specific volunteer opportunities without making those events visible and accessible to all platform users, even when participation is meant to be limited.
