Even if an organization is listed as eligible on CSR Connect, the reality is that there are levels of eligibility. For example, some organizations are registered with BBVN and have ACH set up and some have never heard of BBVN and are getting checks in the mail that they may or may not cash. Employee users expect that if organization are showing as eligible in the system, that means that their giving dollars or incentives will reach the organization. This creates challenges when funds become stranded - we get a lot of feedback from employees that they feel like they've been dupped when their funds don't get to their chosen charity. This issue is only going to get bigger with the system updates removing the redirect step related to H.R.1. Bringing more transparency to the level of eligibility of non-profits would improve informed choice for donors and ultimately lead to more NPs getting registered on the platform and less funding getting caught in the stranded funds process.
