In speaking with Flutter Entertainment this week, they said they will not enable volunteering in more than their US segment until we offer some ability to better control how events are shown by segment and/or location. For example, right now, if events are created by people in multiple segments, all employees can see all events if they open up their location filter. They do not want an employee in the UK, for instance, to see and be able to sign up for an event in the US. If there is a way to add a filter at the event level that says "show for ALL", "show in X segment," "show to these countries" - this would provide greater control over what employees can see so they do not sign up for activities they are not eligible to attend.
